So, yeah. This press conference is all in Gear VR. Every single one of us.
Because it's in VR we're not quite sure what we'll be doing about live pics.
So we've still got about 25 minutes to go before this thing gets started.
This place is really filling up now. It'll be interesting to see if fogging of Gear VR is an issue.
Korean Note 5. That's what's in the Gear VR we're all wearing at this crazy Samsung press event!
Something like 5,000 people in here. Think about that.
Exactly. 5,000 Gear VR, and 5,000 Note 5. (Plus whatever's in the "Do not touch" boxes under the seats.)
Starting to rethink whether we're really here. Are *we* virtual? And where is *here*, anyway.
Uh oh ... Ethernet is starting to be less ethereal ... Or whatever. It's not as snappy now.
7 minutes to goooooooo!!!!!!!!
Give minutes to gooooooo!!!!!
OK. We're 1 minute late! But now is a REALLY good time to go check the site. :)
We're getting underway here in Barcelona
Showing us one of the Samsung commericals now.
Oooooo. There is a stage!
The box in the middle of the room is opening up ...
Bright lights everywhere ... (Holy crap this is good.)
Lots of applause ... And out comes President of Mobile Communications for Samsung, DJ Koh.
Thank you. Thank you to the millions joining
us online, and those of you here.
